The Australian Open has been created by Wakeboard Australia this year to showcase boat
competition & our enormous talent pool in Australia. With only a handful of Pro Level boat comp’s in
Australia this season, this series promises to be huge. The overall winner will receive Australia’s only
wildcard spot in next years IWWF World Wakeboard Cup stop, to be held in Perth WA. Unless you
have already prequalified at a previous World Cup stop, this is the only way to get entry to this
prestigious event.

The 2011 Season Opener is a chance for wakeboard industry manufacturers and retailers to demonstrate their new products for the upcoming season and a chance for the punters to check out all the new gear.
There will be boats from the leading manufacturers on display and in the water running demos all weekend.
Top wakeboard brands will be there with their new line-ups giving people the chance to try their boards before you buy.
Everyone is invited to bring their own boats down to use on the river over the weekend. We will be having a big raft up and giving away prizes for the most decked out and unique boats. For more details visit- www.killerindustries.com.au

It's now time for Round 2, of the WBNSW Summer Series, We have MB BOATS officially Towing for rnd2.
Time to lock dates in, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October 2011, Hawkesbury River, Windsor.
We kick start Friday 8.00am with MB BOATS FREE Come and Try Day, then the following next day it's the rnd2 comp.
Tell your mates to get down to the Hawkesbury, join in on the fun, and enter the comp or just...... relax spectate some awesome riding from our NSW Wakeboarders!!!!

TO BEGIN OUR 2012 SUMMER SERIES ......
WakeboardNSW is holding a COME & TRY DAY, is a cost FREE day:) It's OPEN to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!!
Make sure you head down to Governor Park, Hawkesbury River, Windsor, Friday 23rd September from 8.00AM!!!
Come join us, for a enjoyable, fun, chilled out day on the water, shreddin it up behind the 2011 NAUTIQUE SUPER AIR 210 Yeeeaaahhhha:) :) :)
FOLLOWING DAY.........
Our first round will be held on the Hawkesbury River, Governor Phillip Park, Windsor, Saturday 24th September, starting at 7.30 am.
... To participate in Wakeboard NSW competition events all riders must be members of the Australian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (AWWF).
Membership information relating to the Australian Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (AWWF) is available on their website http://awwf.com.au/
You can join as a Come n' Try or introductory member for your first round to see if you like it before committing to full membership.
The Divisions:
Level 1- Rookie (single wake jumps)
Level 2- Straight Air under 16’s and over 16’s (wake to wake grabs and 180’s)
Level 3- Inverter (up to 2 advanced tricks- inverts/spins/raley)
Level 4- Advanced (unlimited inverts and spins up to 540’s)
Level 5- Mobe Club (up to 3 mobes and spins up to 540’s)
Level 6- Professional (unlimited)
These divisions are skill / competency based and allow riders of similar ability to ride against each other, regardless of age or experience.
Wakeboard NSW look forward to seeing you out on the water, also looking forward to seeing new faces and riders wanting to participate in our 2011/12 comps.
Most imortantly remember that wakeboarding is all about having a good time, enjoying the ride and the waterway.
