Welcome back to the start of the season. It’s that time again when we dust off the boards and boats and prepare for the summer ahead.

2018/2019 Committee
Thank you to those who attended the AGM in July. The AGM was beneficial in planning for the upcoming season with lots of suggestions and organisation taking place.
A big welcome to the 2018/2019 WBNSW Executive Committee
President – Brad Needham
Vice President – Nicholas Abela
Treasurer – Isaac Adele
Secretary – Mel Brown
The WBNSW committee is passionate about providing a space to share the love for water sports but need you to help. If you have any ideas, suggestions or feedback please let one of us know. To keep our club growing we all need to work together as a team.

For those who haven't already done so could all committee members please forward me your Working With Children Check Number.
AWWF Memberships
AWWF memberships are now due for this season. If you haven’t already done so please renew your AWWF membership or if you are new to the club register as a new member. It’s important all committee members are registered members with AWWF. Renewals and new memberships can be done at http://www.awwf.com.au

Riding Divisions
To ensure consistency across all clubs the Wakeboard Australia committee has introduced new riding divisions that will start this season. These divisions are similar to WBNSW; however, there are some changes so please make yourself familiar with the criteria of each division. You will also notice the introduction of the Shred 18+ for those keen to get involved but not wanted the competitive aspect, although I am sure there will be some friendly banter during this division.

Judges Course
As previously communicated we will be running a judges course on the afternoon of Saturday 13th October before our Round 1 Event. We would love to have as many people involved as possible mums, dads and our 10 - 14 year old group onwards.  If you are interested in completing the judging course please let us know asap as organisation has begun. If you have completed the judges course previously it would be a great idea to jump on board again to freshen up your knowledge.
Completing the judging course helps with competition preparation as you gain an understanding of what judges are looking for.
