With a new committee eager to start the season, Round 1 kicked off on Saturday 14th October. The rainy and chilly conditions didn’t deter riders as they boarded up eager to take the water. On the Windsor banks we saw old faces returning as well as a number of new families joining the Wakeboard NSW crew.
The day ran smoothly due to the support of all families. We saw mums on the boats, junior men helping judge, new families on the pick up boat and Adam even getting kicked off his BBQ by parents wanting to help.
The kids watched in ore as Nic Rapa ended the day with a demo ride, demonstrating the results of hard work and dedication. The podium saw siblings battling it out and new members taking the win. Congratulations to all those who rode.
The Junior Development Training Camp information was well received with an impressive number of riders signing up. The training camp will take place on the 18th and 19th December. If you are interested and have not yet registered your name please do so.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Round 2 on the 11th November at Winsdor.
